This Sterling silver medallion flew on the Gemini VII mission with astronauts Frank Borman and James Lovell.

On the front of the medallion is seen an arm holding a torch with a Gemini spacecraft and the mission designation VII.

On the back of the medallion are the names Borman and Lovell along with the mission designation GT-7.  Etched into the medallion is the mission dates of December 4-13, 1965.

This medallion was in the personal collection of Astronaut Wally Schirra.  He consigned this medallion for sale through Odyssey Auctions.

The Earth To The Moon Air & Space Museum acquired this medallion from the Odyssey auction.

Later a hand signed, type written certificate was obtained from Astronaut Schirra to attest to the medallion's authenticity.
