Wally Schirra's flown Fischer space pen from Apollo 7

This Fisher Space Pen flew with Astronaut Wally Schirra on Apollo 7. The model number of the pen is AG-7. Inscribed on the pen is NASA part number SEB-12100051-201 S/N M16.

It remained in Astronaut Schirra's personal collection until he put it for auction in Odyssey Auctions Space Aviation Autographs and Memorabilia Auction on March 26, 1995.

This pen was lot number 62 in that auction. The lot description in the auction catalog stated, "62. Astronaut Pen Flown by Wally Schirra. Similar to the last."

The word "last" in the above description was referring to the previous lot in the catalogue, which stated, "61. Astronaut Pen Flown by Wally Schirra. A Fisher AG-7 ink pen used by Schirra on Apollo VII. Very desirable."

The Earth To The Moon Air & Space Museum acquired this artifact from the Odyssey auction..

Later, the Earth To The Moon Air And Space Museum obtained a type written statement that was hand signed by Astronaut Schirra attesting to the authenticity of this artifact.
