These straps flew to the Ocean of Storms with Astronauts Pete Conrad and Alan Bean.  The straps were used inside of the lunar module Intrepid to hold down various items.  The straps both are identified with the SEB number 33100015-302.  One strap is S/N 1144 and the other is S/N 1145.

Pete Conrad retrieved these straps from the lunar module before it was jettisoned after returning from the lunar surface.

The straps remained in Conrad's collection until he consigned them for sale to Odyssey Auctions.

Astronaut Conrad consigned this artifact for sale to Odyssey Auctions.  These straps were auctioned on November 22, 1992.

This artifact was lot number 99 in the auction catalog.  The description in the auction catalog stated, "95. Apollo 12 Lunar Module Hold Down, used during the mission."

A hand written statement of authenticity, written and signed by Astronaut Conrad accompanies this artifact.

The Earth To The Moon Air &  Space Museum acquired this artifact from the Odyssey auction.
