This artifact is a Flow Robbins Medallion from Apollo 10. The medallion was presented by Apollo 10 LMP Eugene Cernan to the former physical trainer of the astronauts, Joe Garino. It remained in Mr. Garino's collection until he placed it for auction

The medallion was placed up for auction in Heritage Auction Galleries Air and Space Auction on September 20, 2008. It was lot number 25300.

The description in the auction catalog reads : "25300 : Apollo 10 Flown Robbins Sterling Silver Medallion, numbered 248 of 300 flown, presented to Joe Garino by Gene Cernan. From the collection of renowned former physical trainer of the astronauts Joe Garino. This lot is accompanied by a signed certificate of authentication from Garino verifying its provenance."

The flown Robbins medallion and certificate of authenticity was acquired by the Earth To The Moon Air & Space Museum from the Heritage auction.
